Terms and Conditions for Jessy Cabs Car Rental Company
Please carefully review the following terms and conditions before renting a car from Jessy Cabs.
By renting a car, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these terms and conditions:
Rental Requirements:
a. The renter must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license.
b. The renter must provide a valid credit card in their own name for payment and security deposit purposes.
c. Additional identification and documentation may be required as per local regulations.
Rental Duration:
a. The rental period begins and ends as specified in the rental agreement.
b. Any extension of the rental period must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and additional charges.
Reservation and Cancellation:
a. Reservations are subject to vehicle availability.
b. Cancellations must be made within the specified timeframe to avoid any cancellation fees, as communicated during the reservation process.
Rental Rates and Payments:
a. Rental rates are determined based on the vehicle type, duration, and any additional services requested.
b. The renter is responsible for payment of all rental charges, including taxes, fees, and any extras incurred during the rental period.
c. A security deposit will be authorized on the provided credit card and released upon the return of the vehicle, subject to any applicable charges.
Insurance and Liability:
a. The rental vehicle is covered by basic insurance. Additional coverage options may be available at an extra cost.
b. The renter is responsible for any damage or loss to the rental vehicle during the rental period, up to the deductible amount specified in the rental agreement.
c. The renter is liable for any fines, penalties, or violations incurred while operating the rental vehicle.
Vehicle Usage and Restrictions:
a. The rental vehicle is only for the use of the renter and any authorized additional drivers listed in the rental agreement.
b. The rental vehicle must be operated in compliance with local traffic laws and regulations.
c. The renter must not use the rental vehicle for any illegal activities, racing, off-road driving, or transportation of hazardous materials.
Vehicle Return:
a. The rental vehicle must be returned to the designated rental location on or before the agreed return date and time.
b. Late returns may result in additional charges.
c. The renter is responsible for any damage or loss to the rental vehicle until it is checked in and inspected by Jessy Cabs.
Limitation of Liability:
a. Jessy Cabs is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the rental vehicle.
b. Jessy Cabs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the rental.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions:
a. Jessy Cabs reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
By proceeding with the rental, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined above.
